You will see from the calendar that we have lots of varied activities at the Drop in Centre. We are looking for volunteers to help with the daily upkeep of the centre, perhaps you have a bit of spare time and would like to spend it with the volunteers making sure that this beautiful building stays open to the people of Rawmarsh and Parkgate.
Or maybe you would like to attend one of the many activities available. Please use the contact page further alongand chat to Maureen.
You have to cater for yourself or hire a caterer, but both rooms have kitchens attached to hire at the weekend for parties or family do’s. No alcohol allowed, but lots of room to enjoy your party.Tables and chairs available.
Childrens parties are very popular at the Centre. The kids have all the space they need to enjoy games to their hearts content without damaging your furniture; BUT you must clear up after yourselves and leave the rooms as you found them.
The room hire rates are £15 per hour per room; however, you can hire the whole building at weekends for £25 per hour.
The Centre has its own carpark so off-road parking available.
As you see we have two large rooms available, and the Centre has just been refurbished with updated kitchens and toilet facilities.

The Drop in Centre has secured #Nationallottery funding to enable us to renovate the gardens at Harding Avenue.
We have lots of groups now using this vibrant community space and the renovations to make the gardens accessible to the disabled and wheelchair users will be a great addition.
We are hoping to arrange volunteer days when the local community can help us level the ground before the installation of seating areas, sensory flower beds, water feature and shaded seating areas.
At the community jubilee coffee morning there were willing volunteers to hold the cheque as they said, “we can dream of holding a winning cheque,”
Unfortunately, the plans for the 1950 picnic at Drop in Centre have been put on hold until we receive the notification of a grant be awarded by Rotherham Council.
The Drop in Centre, Rawmarsh @ S62 7ED is going from strength to strength with the courses and groups on offer.
Looking for a venue for a children’s party or join in zumba, burlesque and beginner sign language, then this is the place. Community coffee mornings, mens’ mental health, ladies empowering ladies or baby bloom classes we are trying to cover all age groups with the new revamped Centre.
