S62 groups

1. Men’s mental health

The S62 group has launched a Men’s Mental Health group which meets every Monday 7.30 to 8.30pm.

The first evening session in the new venue run by S62 went down really well. Luke, the group leader, had 5 people turn up which does not sound a lot, but it is the most they have ever had – and one person was completely new. Luke is very enthusiastic in keeping the group going, so gentlemen if you have any worries [big or small] why not pop along and chat with other men in perhaps a like situation.

To fund the group they have started a regular coffee morning on Saturday, 18th Sept, which will be held fortnightly, but will move to weekly if it proves to be a success.

The first coffee morning went quite well and was well attended. Why not pop along, meet group leader Luke and offload those worries and they will try to help you find a solution.

Talking is good and helps. No judgements, just help.

Helping hands make the climb back to health easier.

It steals the joy from your life. Don’t suffer. Reach out.

2. Women supporting women

S62 are also launching another group, Women supporting Women.

This group will run on Thursday evenings, 7.00pm to 9.00pm. This will start fortnightly but, once again, will move to weekly if successful.
